How to get started on writing a song?

I have a lot of good ideas for songs, but I just don't know how to get
started. I know that once I get started, I'll be good from there. Any
ideas on how I can get started? It might be that I don't know the
structure of song writing, like how a song is set up..verses,
choruses, etc. Help?

I don't know if this makes a difference, but the kind of music i like
and want to write is kind of like the style of music Adele sings, if
you know who she is.
